Deed from Elijah Wampey to Elnathan and Roger Hooker

To All People to Whom These Presents Shall Come: Greeting
 
Know you that I, Elijah Wampey, of Farmington in the County of Hartford and Colony of Connecticut in New England, by and with the direction and advice of Colonel John Strong, Colonel [1] Gay, and Elnathan Gridley, a Committee appointed by the General Assembly to advise and in the sale of Indian land for the consideration of one hundred pounds lawful money received to my full satisfaction of Elnathan Hooker and Roger Hooker, both of said Farmington do give, grant, bargain, sell, and confirm unto the said Elnathan and Roger Hooker and to their heirs and assigns forever, several parcels of land situated in said Farmington, all lying in the northwest division, so-called, one piece as one half part of the 30th Lot in said in said division, drawn on the right of John North, Sr., the whole lot contains thirty-four acres, one rood, and ten rods, also eight acres, three roods, and three rods in the 31st Lot in said division, drawn on the right of John Judd, both of which part are undivided, also the whole of the 32nd Lott and contain twenty-three acres and thirty rods and was drawn on the right of Stephen Hart, Jr., also the whole as the 33rd Lot, drawn on the right of John Stanley, Jr., and is fourteen acres, two rood, and twenty-five rods.  Also, the whole of the 34th Lot and was drawn on the right of Abraham Andrews and contains seven acres, two rods, and twenty-five rods, also one-half of seven-eighth parts of the 35th Lot and was drawn on the right of Jonathan Smith and said granted part contains about three acres and a half and lyeth undivided, also, ten acres I bought of James Wadsworth, Esq., and is butted north, part on my own land and part on highway, south part on highway, and part on land of John Porter, Jr., and part on land of Hezekiah Wadsworth land, east on highway, west on land of John Porter, Jr.  The other pieces are butted as by the records may appear.
 
To Have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto them, the said Elnathan and Roger Hooker, and to their heirs and assigns forever, to them and their own proper use and behoof. And, also, I, the said [2] Elijah Wampey, do for myself and my heirs, executors, and administrators, covenant with the said Elnathan and Roger Hooker and with their heirs and assigns, that at and until the ensealing of these presents, I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written, and that the same is free of all encumbrances whatsoever.  And, furthermore, I, the said Elijah Wampey, do by these presents, bind myself and my heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises, to them, the said Elnathan and Roger Hooker, their heirs and assigns, against all claims and demands whatsoever.
