Manross, Elisha, 1727 - 1810

Deacon Elisha Manross (1727-1810). son of Nehemiah Manross and Esther Bishop, was chosen a deacon of the Bristol Congregational Church in 1765 and served as a selectman from that town beginning in 1785.  In 1776, he was a witness to two Tunxis deeds.
