Deed from Israel Freeman to Noadiah Hooker

To All People to Whom These Presents Shall Come: Greeting
 
Know you that I, Israel Freeman, of Farmington in the County of Hartford and Colony of Connecticut in New England, for the consideration of forty and three pounds lawful money received to my full satisfaction of Noadiah Hooker of Farmington aforesaid do give, grant, bargain, sell, and confirm unto the said Noadiah Hooker and to his heirs and assigns forever one certain piece or parcel of land situate in said Farmington, and is the southeast part of my home lot where I now dwell, and contains one acre of land, and is butted and bounded as followeth, namely, south on the road leading up to the mountain, west partly on my own land and part on land of Andrew Culver, and north on land of John Porter, and east on said Hooker's own land.
 
To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said Noadiah Hooker and to his heirs and assigns forever, to his and their own proper use and behoof.   And also, I, the said Israel Freeman, do for myself, and my heirs, executors, and administrators, covenant with the said Noadiah Hooker and with his heirs and assigns, that at and until the ensealing of these presents, I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple, and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written, and that the same is free of all encumbrances whatsoever.  And, furthermore, I, the said Israel Freeman, do by these presents, bind myself and my heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises to him, the said Noadiah Hooker, his heirs and assigns, against all claims and demands whatsoever.
