Brown, Ann , - 1891

Ann Brown of Chappaquiddick, daughter of Abraham and Lucy (Wamp) Brown, was the wife of Isaac Job of Deep Bottom, Massachusetts.  She died at Edgartown from heart disease on February 3, 1891, aged 67 years. Pierce and Segel, Wampanoag Families of Martha's Vineyard, 81, 425, 426.

Turner, Lucy, 1821 - 1878

Lucy D. Turner was the daughter of Robert Turner and Jane Job of Tisbury, Massachusetts.  In 1850, she was living with her uncle and aunt, Isaac and Jemima Easton, in Tisbury.  By 1860, she was in California, working as a cook.  She died in San Francisco in 1878.  Pierce and Segel, Wampanoag Families of Martha's Vineyar, 256, 425.

Saunders, John , 1787 - 1830

Born at Farm Neck, Edgartown, Massachusetts, John Saunders, Jr. was the son of John Saunders and Priscilla Cook, both of Virginia.  In 1793, he was indentured as an apprentice servant to Melatiah Pease of Edgartown for a term of seventeen years.   With his indenture completed, Saunders married Jemima Job of Deep Bottom, Tisbury on January 24, 1811.  They had children John, Priscilla, Abiah, William Henry, James, and David.  Saunders and family  boarded Sarah Francis, a member of the Christiantown community, in 1824.
