Hoscott, Diana , - 1874

Diana Hoscott was the daughter of Isiah Hoscott and Cynthia Tecomwas of the Mohegan Tribe of Montville, Connecticut.  She married Charles Matthews of Charlestown, Rhode Island.  The couple had two sons, Alpheus and Henry.  By 1827, she wed Halsey Rogers and had three children: James H., Lucy Ann, and Leonard Rogers.  Brown and Rose, Black Roots, 247.  U.S. Federal Census for Montville, Connecticut (1870). A Mohegan Genealogy by Niyayoqj, Ancestry.
