An Act Authorizing the Sale of Indian Lands

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened

That on application made in writing by the overseer of any tribe of Indians in this state to the county court in the court where such tribe is located, such county court is authorized and empowered to grant permission and authority to such overseer to sell the lands of any Indian, male of female, belonging to such tribe of Indians, to any other Indian, male or female, belonging to the same tribe of Indians; and to give and execute a sufficient deed or deeds of such lands in manner aforesaid.
