The Mason Indians leased one Moses Meazon’s house in our fields to Champlin, a white man that
is an enemy to government, a great exhorter who makes much uneasiness amongst the Indians. I am much disturbed they brought such a man to the fields, but Mason Indians does what they please. They regard not me nor overseers nor government.
Post Script: This Champlin carts off our wood and sells it.
