Fowler, Henry, 1632 -

Henry Fowler, son of Henry Fowler of Hambleton, England, immigrated to New England where he was living as an apprentice ironmonger at Providence, Rhode Island in 1653.   Fowler later appears at Mamaroneck by 1680 as owner of a sawmill.  Abraham Hatfield, Jr., "Fowler," The New York Genealogical and Biographical Record 49 (1918): 199.  Christine C.
