Duxbury (Mattakeesett, "place of many fish") is a town in Plymouth County in the Wampanoag territorial homeland.  It was used by English planters from nearby Plymouth as summer farm fields and settled in 1624.  It originally included lands that would become Pembroke.  Wikipedia
