Deed from Solomon Mossuck to Daniel Mossuck

To All People to Whom These Presents Shall Come: Greeting
 
Know you that I, Solomon Mossuck, of Farmington in the County of Hartford and Colony of Connecticut in New England, for the consideration of the love and goodwill I have for my son, Daniel Mossuck, of Farmington, aforesaid, and other valuable considerations received to full satisfaction of the said Daniel Mossuck, do give, grant, bargain, sell, and confirm unto the said Daniel Mossuck and to his heirs forever, one certain piece or parcel of land lying in Farmington, aforesaid, in the First Society, west of the meadow in said Society, in the First Tier, so-called, butted and bounded as followeth: west on a twenty-rod highway, north on a four-rod highway, east on highway, and south on land belonging to Samuel Adams, containing fourteen acres by estimation, be the same, more or less.  To have and to hold, the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him, the said Daniel Mossuck, to his heirs and assigns forever, to his and their own proper use and behoof, and, also, I, the said Solomon Mossuck, do for myself and for my heirs, executors, and administrators, covenant with the said Daniel Mossuck and with his heirs and assigns that, at and until the ensealing of these presents, I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form, as is above written, and that the same is free of all encumbrances whatsoever, and, furthermore, I, the said Solomon Mossuck, do by these presents, binding myself and my heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises to him, the said Daniel Mossuck, and to his heirs and assigns, all claims and demands whatsoever.
