Shantup, Joseph (hus of Hannah), 1739 - 1764

Joseph Shantup was a Mohegan Indian, the son of Jeremy and Polly Shantup and the husband of Hannah Ashbow.  The couple married in New London, Connecticut on April 18, 1764. They had children Joseph, Martha, Joshua, Moses, Henry.  Brown and Rose, Black Roots, 367.
