Mossuck, Lucy

A member of the Tunxis community, Lucy Mossuck was the daughter of Solomon Mossuck and Eunice Wawowos of Farmington, Connecticut.  On January 18, 1787, she married an African-American man, Uriah Ceasar. They appeared in the 1800 Farmington census with 5 in the family, presumably living on Lucy's father's lot on the 200-acre Tunxis reservation.  Uriah and Luck sold their property in 1806.  It is unclear to where they removed.
