Law, Sally (1836), 1789 - 1863

Sally was a Mohegan woman who married William Law of Norwich, Connecticut.  The couple had several children:  William E., Lucinda, John A., Sarah E., and Alfred William.  After the death of her husband in 1833, she and her son Alfred unsuccessfully petitioned the Connecticut for the exemption of taxes.  Sarah died in Norwich in the winter of 1863.  Brown and Rose, Black Roots, 226. 1836/04.21.00
