Fielding, Moses , 1833 - 1897

Moses Fielding was the son of Francis Fielding and Rachel Hoscott of the Mohegan Tribe in Montville, Connecticut.  By 1854, he married Frances C. Dick, who bore him one son, Julian Fielding.    With the death of Frances at the end of 1854, Moses remarried to a woman named Thankful.  He lived at Montville as a farmer until 1892 when he removed to Groton.  He died at Montville on June 10, 1897.  A Mohegan Genealogy by Niyayodqj, Ancestry.
