Action of disseisin, etc.

The defendant defends and says he hath done no wrong nor disseisin to the plaintiffs in manner and form as the plaintiffs in their declaration have alleged and thereof puts himself on the country

Dyer and Elderkin for the defendant

And the plaintiffs say the defendant’s plea is insufficient   

Griswold and Stedman for the plaintiffs

And the defendant says it is sufficient

Dyer and Elderkin for the defendant

In the jurisdiction of Norwich Superior Court, March term 1758

And now the plaintiffs charging in court put themselves on the country in like manner

Stedman and Griswold for the plaintiffs
