Petition of Sally Burr to the Massachusetts General Court

To The Honorable Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts                            

Respectfully represents Sally Burr of Boston, County of Suffolk, that she is a member of the Ponkapog Tribe of Indians, and that she has a son, James Burr, dependent upon her for support, and that she is unable to maintain herself and son without assistance. Wherefore, she prays that an annuity of one hundred dollars may be granted to her, payable to the Guardian of said tribe to be by him, expended for the benefit of herself and her said son.
