Hawley, Gideon, 1767 - 1851

Gideon Hawley, Jr. (July 13, 1767-May 4, 1851) the son of Gideon Hawley, II and Lucy Fassenden, was a farmer from Sandwich, Massachusetts.  He served as a Justice of the Peace for Mashpee as early as 1827 until his death in 1851.  Hawley also served as an overseer to the Mashpee Indians until his dismissal in 1833.  Find A Grave.
