Salisbury, John

John Salisbury (before 1792-after 1870) was a farmer at the Indian community at Gay Head, Massachusetts.  In 1808, he married Naomi Occouch of Gay Head at Chilmark, Massachusetts.  The couple had at least one child, Beulah (b. 1815).  He may have been the same John Salisbury who in 1825 married Abiah Johnson in Chilmark and had a daughter Emily G. (b. 1833), all residing at Gay Head by 1870.  Pease, Pease Report, 53.
