Cushing, Luther Sterns

Luther Stearns Cushing was the Clerk of the Massachusetts House of Representatives (1832-1846) and a member of the State Legislature starting in 1844.  He also served as a judge of the Court of common Pleas in Boston and subsequent to that Reporter of Decisions for the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.  Massachusetts Judicial Branch, Massachusetts Court System, Luther Stearns Cushing.
