Cooper, Thomas, Jr. (Gay Head)

Thomas Cooper was the son of Thomas Cooper of Gay Head, Massachusetts.  He married Susannah Talknot at Chilmark, Massachusetts on December 13, 1798.  The couple had several children:  Abiah, Thomas, Jr., Clarissa, Isaac, Prudence, George W., Susanna, Zaccheus, Louisa, and Abraham.  Cooper was a seaman and lived with his family at Gay Head.  Vital Records of Chilmark, Massachusetts to the Year 1850, 34.  Pease, Pease Report, 53. Pierce and Segel, Wampanoag Families of Martha's Vineyard, 158-164.
