Spooner, Walter, 1720 - 1803

Walter Spooner (1720-1803) was politically active at the town, county, and state levels of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  He served on the House of Representatives for a number of years and also as a senator.  As a representative from Dartmouth he was a member of the committee in 1788-1789 that investigated the dispute between Mashpee guardians Gideon Hawley and John Percival.  Schutz, Legislators of the Massachusetts General Court, 344.
