Occom, Olive, 1755 - 1837
Born in Montauk, New York, Olive Occom was the daughter of Samson Occom and Mary Fowler. She married Solomon Adams, a Tunxis from Farmington, Connecticut, on April 14, 1775, and lived at Farmington after Solomon's death in 1783. But by 1786 she and her children were living near Windsor, Connecticut. Olive later removed to Brothertown, and her children sold the family rights to the Farmington lands in 1801.
