Griswold, George, II, 1726 - 1816

George Griswold was the son of the Rev. George Griswold and Hannah Lynde of Lyme, Connecticut and the husband of Elizabeth Lee.  He and his family lived at Giant's Neck.  In 1813, he assumed his recently deceased half-brother Andrew's responsibilities as overseer to the Niantic Indians.  Reuben Walworth, Hyde Genealogy, Vol. 1 (Albany, NY: J.
