Tisbury (Chappaquonsett) is a Town in Dukes County, Massachusetts, within the territorial homeland of the Wampanoag.  First settled by English colonists in 1660, it was incorporated in 1671.  Within Tisbury, there exists a section called Deep Bottom, where a band of the Wampanoag live.
