Bill, Avery, 1797 - 1862

Avery Bill married his wife Betsy Barnes in Groton, Connecticut in 1820.  Ten years later, they appeared with a family of eight more in that town's census.  In 1824, Western Pequot tribal overseer, Elisha Crary sold him sixteen loads of wood from Mashantucket reservation land.
