Allyn, Roswell
Colonel Roswell Allyn (July 11, 1789-August 11, 1860) was the son of James Allyn and Ann Stanton of Ledyard, Connecticut. He purchased bark from Mark Daniels in 1825 and from the tribe in 1826, in the same two years, he provided shoes for two Indian women.
