Awaquin, John

John Awaquin was a member of the Nipmuc Indian community.  His name appears on two Natick petitions in 1684.  In one, he, Captain Tom, and several others protested the sale of land near Whip Suffrage, Massachusetts, and demanded redress.  MA 30: 279a, 287.
