Billingsgate Point is a peninsular in Eastham, Massachusetts in the territorial homeland of the Punonakanit Wampanoag people.  Early colonists named it after the Billingsgate Fish Market in London.  Originally a promontory, the point became an island after a ditch was dug between it and the northern mainland.  Wikipedia.
