Williams, Benadam, 1747 - 1826

Captain Benadam Williams (March 21, 1747-February 5, 1826) was the son of William Williams and Martha Wheeler of Stonington, Connecticut.  He became a wealthy landowner of several farms and held the position of constable.  In 1815, he let some of his cattle out in the Eastern Pequot Indian Town pasture.  Find A Grave (Williams Cemetery, North Stonington, CT).
