West, Stephen
Born in Tolland, Connecticut, the son of Judge Zebulon West, Stephen West (November 2, 1735-May 13, 1819) graduated from Yale College in 1755. He succeeded Jonathan Edwards as a missionary to the Stockbridge Indian community, serving from 1758 to 1775.
