Strong, Asahel, Sr., 1668 - 1739
Asahel Strong, Sr. (1668-1739) was the son of Thomas Strong and Mary Hewett of Northampton, Massachusetts. He removed to Farmington, Connecticut, where he became a farmer. On June 11, 1689, he married Margaret Hart, daughter of Deacon Stephen Hart.
