Timothy Root I was the son of Stephen Root of Farmington, Connecticut, and the husband of Margaret Seymour. A soldier, he died at Cape Breton, Nova Scotia during the French & Indian War in 1713. Osborn, Men of Mark in Connecticut, Vol. III, 141.
