Printer, Moses, - 1728

Moses Printer was a member of the Hassanamisco community.  In 1716, he was a guide for the Ensign Ralph Earle in surveying the woods of central Massachusetts.  Printer married Mary Pogenit of Natick and had several children: Moses, Elizabeth, Bethia, Sarah, and Mary.  Among the first proprietor families of the Hassanamisco reservation, Printer received one hundred and eight acres of land there in 1727.   In early spring of the following year, he and his wife died, and the children were bound out as apprentices.  Pliny Earle, The Earle Family: Ralph Earle and His Descendants (Worcester, MA: Press of Charles Hamilton, 1888), 19.  HL-P, Hassanamisco People, YIPP Research files.  DeLucia, Memory Lands, 65.
