Printer, Abigail, - 1776

Abigail Printer was the daughter of Ami and Sarah Printer.  Through them, she became a descendant proprietor of lands at Grafton, Massachusetts.  Abigail first married Andrew Abraham, Jr. and had three children, Jonas, David, and John.  She subsequently married Joseph Anthony and had a son, Joseph.  Lastly, she married Fortune Burnee and had a son, Fortune Burnee, Jr.  In the winter of 1775, out of financial need, she and three other Nipmuc women petitioned the Massachusetts Legislature for payments of their interest money.  HL-P, Hassanamisco People, YIPP Research Files.  Petition of Elizabeth Samson,1775.11.27.00
