Occom, Olive, 1755 -

Olive Occom was the daughter of Samson Occom and Mary Fowler of Mohegan, Connecticut.  She married Solomon Adams, a Tunxis from Farmington, Connecticut, in 1775, and lived at Farmington after Solomon's death in 1783.  But by 1786 she and her children were living near Windsor, Connecticut.  Olive later removed to Brothertown, and her children sold the family rights to the Farmington lands in 1801.  Brooks, The Collected Writings of Samson Occom, 397.
