Jeffers, Amos, 1785 -
Amos Jeffers (November 4, 1785-after 1870) was born in Middleborough, Massachusetts, a member of the Mashpee Tribe. In 1806, he married Bethiah Cooper and had at least four children, Huldah (1802), Lydia (1818), Julia (1818), and Thomas (1826). Jeffers was a seaman and farmer.
