Gavitt, Martha (Polly), 1804 - 1878

Martha Gavitt, also known as Patty was the daughter of Stephen Gavitt and Sallie Crandall.  She married Abel Main in 1828 as his second wife.  From 1842 to 1844, Martha and her husband provided board for Philena, an Eastern Pequot woman.
