Fowler, Mary , 1730 -

Mary Fowler was a member of the Montauk community of Long Island, New York.  She, along with her brothers, was a student at Samson Occom's school there.  In 1751, she married Occom and had several children: Mary, Aaron, Tabitha, Olive, Christiana, Benoni, Theodosia, Lemuel Fowler, Andrew Gifford, and Sally.  The family lived at Mohegan, Connecticut from 1764 to 1789.  She and Occom removed to Brothertown, New York, where they lived from 1789 to 1790, and then to New Stockbridge, New York.  Mary Occom, Occom Circle.
