Fish, Asa, 1790 - 1861

Born in raised in Groton, Connecticut, Asa Fish was the son of Deacon Sands Fish.  he removed to the Mystic Bridge section of Stonington where he served as one of the town's selectmen 1821-23 and held the positions of senator and judge of probate.  Stonington's 1820 census indicated that he was engaged in commerce.
