Felix, Mercy

Mercy Felix was the daughter of Felix and Assowetough, two Wampanoag community members.  She married Benjamin Tuspaquin and had at least one daughter, Lydia.  Mercy inherited her parents' property through the last will of her mother in 1698.  Both she and her husband apparently died when Lydia was young for the child was placed in the care of her grandfather at an early age.   Pierce, Indian History, Biography, and Genealogy, 213-215.
