Davis, Johnston, 1760 - 1835

Johnson Davis served as a private in Captain Edward Eell's Company of the 3rd Battalion, Connecticut Forces during the American Revolution.  He appeared in the 1810 census for North Stonington, Connecticut.  In 1815, Davis let some of his cattle out in the Eastern Pequot Indian Town pasture.  In 1820 and 1830 he was listed as living in Stonington.  Davis died in 1835 and was buried in Preston.
