Cowles, Zenas, 1762 - 1835
Zenas Cowles was the son of Solomon Cowles and Martha Seymour of Farmington, Connecticut and the husband of Mary Lewis. Cowles was one of the leading post-Revolutionary War merchants in Farmington, trading with both East and West Indies.
