Conet, James (1808)

James Conet was a member of the Herring Pond Indian community.  In 1808, he signed a petition to the Massachusetts General Court, protesting another petition that advanced positions contrary to the interests of the Herring Pond and Black Ground Indians.  1808.01.28.00
