Carter, Lucy (1808)

Lucy Carter was a member of the Herring Pond Indian community.  In 1808, she signed a petition to the Massachusetts General Court, protesting another petition that advanced positions contrary to the interests of the Herring Pond and Black Ground Indians.  1808.01.28.00
