Amos, Henry, 1725 -

Henry Amos was the son of Joseph and Ruth Amos of Christiantown, Tisbury, Massachusetts.  He was a private in Elisha Doane's Company on an expedition against Canada in 1746.  Ten years later, Amos married Judith (Untequet) Weeks on January 1, 1756, but they divorced or separated.  Pierce and Segel, Wampanoag Families of Martha's Vineyard, 31-32.
