Appointment of a Committee to Consider the Mohegan Case

In the Lower House, Colonel Hamlin, Mr. Hillhouse, Colonel Chester, Mr. Silliman, and Colonel Coit are appointed a committee with such gentlemen as the Honorable Upper House shall join to take into consideration what may be further done relating to the Mohegan Indians, and what further ought to be done and advice and instructions given to our agents in England respecting that controversy carrying on by Mason in their behalf, and to prepare such advice, etc., and the same with their opinion to report and lay before this Assembly.
