Appointment of a Committee in the Upper House in regards to Salary of Special Agent

In The Upper House, Eliphalet Dyer and Roger Sherman, Esqs., appointed a committee with such gentlemen as the Lower House shall join to confer with William Samuel Johnson,  now appointed agent on the subject of his salary and allowances for expenses, etc. while he is in the service of the colony and consider what is reasonable to be allowed and granted him therefor, and report their opinion thereon.

Legislative Action:        Test, George Wyllys, Secretary.  In the Lower House, Ebenezer Silliman and John Chester, Esqs., and Mr. Wetmore and Mr. Daniel Lyman are joined in the affair. Test, William Williams, Clerk / October 1766 /
